For the last twenty years I have worked in Administrative/Secretarial positions. I have worked for both corporate and non-profit organizations. I served in both Office of the Treasurer at the Lutheran Center of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) as Executive Secretary and as Grants Specialist with the Women of the ELCA. My former husband was a Lutheran pastor for 23 years.

I know church.

But church is not all I know. I am also a voracious reader and a writer. I blog at http://www.howlingnsilence.blogspot.com writing mostly book reviews of fiction.  I have been writing since my first play performed by my third grade class. I have had articles, devotionals and stories published by both religious and secular publications.

I also love to fish, hang out in the backyard with two black Labrador Retrievers, and make soup. (Creating soup is a very liturgical experience I’ve found.)
